Our Story

Born from the Heart of Jharkhand

Birsa Craft is named in honour of Birsa Munda — the legendary tribal freedom fighter whose spirit of pride in indigenous identity lives in everything we do.

We started with a simple belief: the extraordinary skills of India's rural artisans deserve a global stage. From the forests of Jharkhand to homes across the country, we connect master craftspeople with people who value genuine handmade beauty.

"When you hold a Birsa Craft piece, you hold centuries of heritage — the hands of our ancestors still at work."

Our collection spans leather bags, jute goods, Dokra brass art, Sohrai paintings, Bamboo décor, and Terracotta — each a distinct art form, each a story.
